MyCommute members are OHSU members with a network ID and work or campus location within the TriMet service area, or telework.

Personal emergencies may be many possible scenarios. The key distinction for the Guaranteed Ride Home program is that hailing a ride is for a personal need and not a situation affecting the wider community. If many program members requested guaranteed rides home at the same time in severe weather, for example, this could create severe traffic congestion or expose drivers to unsafe driving conditions.

OHSU Carpool

Eligibility for a guaranteed ride with the OHSU Carpool program must meet all of the following:

• MyCommute member
• The member uses the OHSU Carpool app to request a ride and the matched ride is canceled by the driver.
