Biography

Ruben Lancaster joins CEDAR as a BGMP intern, a 9-month internship through the University of Oregon Bioinformatics and Genomics program. Ruben received their undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Oregon in 2019, with a research focus in sexual conflict and aging, before gaining two years of clinical molecular laboratory experience as a technician. At CEDAR, Ruben will work with Dr. Elisabeth Goldman on a tumor evolution and health disparities project. In their free time, Ruben enjoys bouldering, gardening, and sketching. Ruben is excited to join CEDAR, and to both learn and contribute skills to the team.
