About me

"Providing excellent care and bringing hope and encouragement to patients with urologic cancers is my mission.  I am privileged to work with a highly skilled team that values each patient whose illnesses, concerns, and hopes become ours as we work together for their cure and a return to a full and vibrant life following treatment for cancer."

Hilary Shreves is a nurse practitioner with expertise in the diagnosis and management of urologic conditions and a particular interest in urologic cancers.  Hilary received her undergraduate degree from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.  She worked as a nurse in the intensive care unit before going on to obtain her graduate degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.  She enjoyed her first few years of practice at Georgetown University Hospital. As an Oregon native she was thrilled to return to the Pacific Northwest in 2006 and join the faculty of OHSU.

Hilary leads the Departments Urologic Cancer Survivorship Clinic where she monitors patients for recurrences of cancer and helps them regain function and vitality after cancer treatment. She is board certified as an acute care nurse practitioner. Outside of OHSU, Hilary enjoys gardening, cooking, and exercise, and especially enjoys spending time with her husband and five children.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
