About me

Dr. Liu specializes in caring for patients with cancers of the genitourinary system. She has advanced training in open and minimally invasive (laparoscopic and robotic) urologic oncology. Dr. Liu enjoys urologic oncology because of the opportunity to develop longstanding relationships as she helps her patients navigate their cancer treatment.

In her spare time, Dr. Liu enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband who is a cardiac anesthesiologist, and her twins. She enjoys taking her children to the park and working on art projects with them. In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking, baking and spending time outdoors.

Dr Liu explained the procedure and "seemed" to provide the procedure competently and was sure in her procedures and talk.I say seem because I have virtually no experience to say she didn't.I'm usually impressed with personnel at OHSU that they explain procedures well and answer questions when asked.

  27. Dr. Liu is very thorough in dealing with my urological condition and very clear in explaining what's what and why she's doing what she's doing. I especially appreciate the prudent course she has adopted in treating me. I think she is exactly right given my medical history (and previous surgery on my left ureter) to try to "manage" my condition with regular examinations and follow up BCG treatments rather than attempting to deal with it surgically with all the complications that would follow as a result.

  28. The nurse and the doctor were very courteous and quick. I thought this was going to be a consultation only visit but to my pleasant surprise, the doctor performed a cystoscopy during the visit which eliminated one extra visit for me.
