About me

Dr. Moira Ray is a family medicine and preventive medicine doctor. She works with patients to help them stay healthy and manage conditions as they arise, and to work with them to improve the overall wellness of their family.

Dr. Ray earned a dual degree in medicine and public health. In addition to seeing patients, she is a clinical epidemiologist at the Center for Evidence-based Policy at OHSU. In that role, she helps policymakers use medical evidence to improve the health of populations.

When she's not working, Dr. Ray is an avid nature enthusiast and enjoys hiking, biking and walking in the lovely woods of the Pacific Northwest. She also enjoys sewing, quilting and knitting, and can often be found wearing something handmade.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
