OHSU’s very first cohort of Clinical Psychology Ph.D. students posted a 100% match rate for very competitive, highly ranked sites at home and around the country, contributing to the mental health work force at a critical time. Read more.

The School of Medicine announces education mission senior leader 
We are pleased to announce that Kelly Caverzagie, M.D., will become senior associate dean for education effective July 15. "I am honored by this amazing opportunity to join the education pioneers and outstanding students and trainees at OHSU.” —Dr. Caverzagie

Celebrating a career of extraordinary care, mentorship and professionalism 
Senior Genetic Counselor Karen Kovak founded OHSU’s Predictive Neuro Genetics Clinic, a service for people at risk of adult-onset neurogenetic disorders. She also led the effort to enact licensure for genetic counselors.

OHSU program helps with life challenges so families can focus on healing 
The Medical-Legal Partnership program helps address social determinants of health through financial and other forms of aid. “This program is such a unique and beautiful thing to be able to offer, and it’s really an honor to help the families who come through our doors,” said Dr. Ladawna Gievers.
