Postdoctoral Training
Postdoctoral training at OHSU's Department of Behavioral Neuroscience
Postdoctoral scientists in the department are supported by a variety of mechanisms including NIH training grants, individual fellowships, and their mentor's research grants. All eligible trainees are encouraged to apply for individual fellowships. Most members of Behavioral Neuroscience faculty would welcome applications from qualified individuals who are close to receiving or have recently earned a doctoral (PhD/MD) degree.
Postdoctoral Opportunities
OHSU Fellowship for Diversity in Research (OFDIR)
- The goal of the OHSU Fellowship for Diversity in Research (OFDIR) is to address the need for increased representation of minoritized races/ethnicities in STEM at the postdoctoral level. Fellowships are available for postdoctoral training in all scientific areas of study at OHSU. OFDIR Fellows will receive mentored research training and opportunities to build community with and receive support from other scientists who identify as members of a racial or ethnic group underrepresented in STEM. Explore the fellowship website to learn more about the benefits of the OFDIR program, how to apply, and to meet current and former OFDIR fellows.
