Sample preparation

Please navigate to the Gene Profiling/RNA and DNA Services Shared Resource iLab page to initiate a request for Human Cell Line Authentication services. 

For full service samples:

• Please submit at least 20ng/uL of your genomic DNA in at least 5uL final volume, diluted with water if necessary
• If you need assistance with DNA isolation, please see isolation service options available through the Gene Profiling Shared Resource.

For no QA samples:

• Please submit 10ng of your genomic DNA in 5-10uL final volume, diluted with water if necessary
• Note: due to the Core facility not providing quality assessment (QA) for these samples, any troubleshooting required by the Core will result in additional charges

For sample processing with no QA or data analysis:

• Please submit at least 5ng/uL of your genomic DNA in at least 5uL final volume, diluted with water if necessary
• Note: due to the Core facility not providing QA for these samples, any troubleshooting required by the Core will result in additional charges. STR database comparison and report generation will not be completed with this mode of service
