Stefano Sandrone is an Italian neuroscientist working at Imperial College London. He is also an international leader in neuroscience and medical education.

The awards he has won include: the Science Educator Award presented by the Society for Neuroscience in 2019; the A. B. Baker Teacher Recognition Award (twice) from the American Academy of Neurology in 2020 and 2024; the Miriam Friedman Ben-David Award from the Association for Medical Education in Europe in 2024; and the Distinguished Neurology Teacher Award (youngest winner and the first European to win this award) from the American Neurological Academy in 2024.

He has written three books, including Nobel Life, in which he interviewed 24 Nobel Laureates about their life stories, advice for future generations, and what remains to be discovered.
