About me

Dr. Amanda Ball is a board certified clinical neuropsychologist specializing in pediatrics. Dr. Ball has trained as a lifespan neuropsychologist working in various settings including outpatient clinics, community mental health, hospitals, and day treatment programs.

Dr. Ball's research interests include aspects of neurodevelopment including trauma/adverse childhood events, in-utero exposure to substances and alcohol, and early onset psychosis/childhood schizophrenia.

Before joining OHSU, Dr. Ball was a neuropsychologist at Kaiser Permanente NW for 6 years in an outpatient setting serving a lifespan population. Dr. Ball has supervised students at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels.

Dr. Ball grew up in the foothills of North Carolina and completed graduate training in Illinois.

When not at work, Dr. Ball enjoys the outdoors of the Pacific NW and traveling with their partner.
