About me

Dr. Andrew Chon is:

  • An obstetrician, with expertise in pregnancy care
  • A gynecologist, with expertise in women’s health
  • A maternal-fetal medicine specialist, with expertise in high-risk or complex pregnancies

Dr. Chon has advanced training in fetal surgery, done while the baby is in the uterus. Fetal surgery can improve the health of babies with certain birth defects.

Dr. Chon’s research interests include:

  • Fetal care that is minimally invasive (fewer cuts and faster recovery)
  • Twins, triplets, and other multiples
  • Preventing premature births

Dr. Chon and his wife, an internist, enjoy spending time with their twin girls and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
