About me
Dr. Alday received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and completed her residency at the University of Utah. She moved to Portland in 2012, where she initially worked at Tuality Community Hospital as a hospitalist and later as a co-chief hospitalist. She joined the OHSU Division of Hospital Medicine in 2015, where she works as a clinical and teaching hospitalist. She currently serves as the Section Chief for the OHSU Section of the Division of Hospital Medicine. Her academic interests include hospitalist and hospital system operations, capacity management, faculty mentorship, quality improvement, and clinical documentation integrity/inpatient coding. In her free time she enjoys running, traveling, enjoying Portland's many restaurant and musical offerings, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
