About me

Dr. Hung specializes in caring for patients with cancer and blood disorders. She was drawn to cancer biology early on, fascinated by how the single cell proliferates infinitely and attains immortality. However, it was the patients and the ability to form deep, fulfilling, and meaningful relationships which confirmed her decision to pursue oncology. Every day, she is humbled by the strength and resilience of her patients and the unique ways in which they cope with their chronic diseases.  She is passionate about educating patients and their families. She has a specific interest in caring for women with breast cancer. She is excited about the plethora of new therapies and the move towards personalized care by identifying specific molecular markers to target individual tumors.

In her spare time, Dr. Hung loves to spend time with her husband and young son. They love the outdoors, exploring the many parks and hidden trails of the Pacific Northwest. She loves to try out different restaurants, food carts, and coffee shops. She is deeply passionate about noodles of all kinds, fresh seafood, and hearty soups and stews. She enjoys traveling, reading fiction, watching movies, and live trivia with friends.

If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
