About me

Dr. Riddle has a long-standing clinical and scientific interest in helping children with neurologic injuries and empowering their families. In his clinical practice he cares for children with all neurologic diseases with a focus on neonatal neurologic care. Dr. Riddle also maintains a research laboratory in the Doernbecher Children's Hospital Pediatric Research Laboratories. His studies involve understanding how the timing and patterns of brain development effect the vulnerability to and type of injury in preterm infants. His lab combines cellular physiology and advanced imaging techniques in order to define how brain injury in survivors of prematurity leads to long-term neurodevelopmental conditions, such as ADHD and autism, as well as cognitive and motor disabilities with the long-term goal of developing novel therapies.

Dr. Riddle grew up in Oregon and enjoys many of the local outdoor activities such as skiing, kayaking, hiking, and gardening.
