About me
Britta’s clinical focus is in the care of children, along with their caregivers, who have chronic health conditions or difficulties with movement. Britta has gained a variety of experiences in her pediatric physical therapy career thus far, which includes school-based therapy, hospital-based acute and outpatient services, and the completion of a pediatric physical therapy residency here at OHSU. Witnessing the joy of children when learning a new way to interact with their world is the best part of her work and the driving force in providing meaningful, family-centered care based on solid clinical foundations. Locally, she is involved in various community groups focusing on adaptive mobility and play for children, and, nationally, is also a member of the Pediatric and Research sections of the American Physical Therapy Association.
A transplant from the Midwest, Britta enjoys all of the outdoors that Oregon has to offer, from the mountains to the coast. She also spends her time running, reading, cooking, and traveling.

Insurance
Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
