About me

Dr. Deveney is a surgeon who specializes in gastrointestinal and laparoscopic surgery. His clinical interests include obesity, GI motility, gastroesophageal reflux disease, stomach cancer and esophageal cancer. Dr. Deveney received his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco, in 1969. Dr. Deveney is fluent in German and Spanish, plays the piano for his own pleasure, enjoys growing orchids, and is a long-time hobby wine-maker.
