About me

I’m an endocrinologist who treats adults with endocrinology diseases, and I’ve been dedicated to the field of medicine for over twenty years. I’m board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and offer treatment for patients experiencing issues such as:

As co-director of the OHSU Thyroid and Parathyroid Program, I work closely with patients to diagnose and treat various thyroid and parathyroid disorders.

My goal is to provide expert, compassionate care tailored to your needs. In addition to patient care, I’m involved in research on understanding how tumors spread at a molecular level.

I earned my M.D. and Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Connecticut in 1998. I completed my Internal Medicine residency at OHSU in 2000, followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology in 2003.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
