About me
I am a transplant surgeon specializing in kidney, pancreas, and islet transplantation. My goal is to provide the best possible care for my patients while also working to improve transplant outcomes through research.
I’m passionate about helping my patients through every step of their transplant journey, and I’m here to support you with the latest advancements in transplant medicine.
I completed my general surgery training at Columbia University Medical Center in New York, where I developed my surgical skills. After that, I pursued specialized training in transplant surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago, focusing on advanced techniques in organ transplantation, preservation, and post-surgical care.
In 2019, I joined the transplant surgery team at OHSU, where I now serve as an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Abdominal Organ Transplantation. In addition to performing surgeries, I’m dedicated to research that helps improve transplant success and long-term patient health. I work closely with a team of experts to enhance transplant procedures, expand organ availability, and ensure patients receive the best possible care before, during, and after surgery.

Insurance
Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher.
