About me

Dr. David Woodland is a transplant surgeon, specializing in liver, kidney, pancreas and islet transplantation. He was trained at the Columbia University Medical Center in New York where he completed his general surgery residency. He then accepted a 2 year fellowship in transplant surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Woodland was recruited to OHSU's transplant surgery team in 2019 where he applies his expertise in the operating room as well as through his research investigating surgery outcomes and transplant tolerance.
