About me

Dr. Wright is an assistant professor of psychiatry and a licensed psychologist in the Adult Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic at OHSU. Dr. Wright enjoys working with a wide range of individuals and has specialized training in the treatment of anxiety, mood, personality, sleep, and trauma-related disorders. Dr. Wright's therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in science. Dr. Wright primarily utilizes cognitive-behavioral strategies, while integrating a range of other evidence-based interventions (e.g., mindfulness) depending upon each patient's needs and goals. Dr. Wright has a strong background in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP). Dr. Wright fosters a safe and inclusive therapeutic space for all and welcomes patients of any race, gender, or sexual orientation. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Wright teaches and supervises psychiatry residents and clinical psychology Ph.D. students. In her free time, Dr. Wright enjoys hiking, cooking, trying new local restaurants, and spending time with her husband and dog.
