About me

Dr. Varlamov completed a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at OHSU. She sees patients at the OHSU Brain Institute Pituitary Center and the Endocrinology Clinic.

Dr. Varlamov’s research interests include clinical outcomes of pituitary tumors, treatment of acromegaly, Cushing’s disease and growth hormone deficiency.

  14. They promptly ordered lab work and medication, and also discussed the results of my vitamin D and bone density test, sharing some healthy non-pharmaceutical options, which is important to me. Two very intelligent and nice women.

  15. I was only with this provider for a few minutes. Not a lot of information. I was only told that Dr Sanusi would provide my MRI results. Not sure why I had an appointment with her.

  16. She was kind, she was understanding, and she allowed me to make the decision for myself what kind of treatment I felt I needed at the age of 75. So we chose watch it, keep track of it, and keep an eye on it. No extreme measures. What was I supposed to have?

I feel like I'm in good hands to figure out what's going on with my elevated cortisol levels, starting with further testing. Both of these physicians always make me feel important and very relaxed. They speak with me and not at me.
