About me

Dr. Sukerman received her medical degree from Northwestern University in 2009. Following medical school, she completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency at Northwestern University and attained board certification in Internal Medicine. She continued on to complete her Infectious Diseases fellowship as well as an Advanced Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Northwestern and became board certified in Infectious Diseases. During her Infectious Diseases fellowship, Dr. Sukerman earned a Master's degree in Clinical Investigation.

Following completion of her Infectious Diseases fellowship, Dr. Sukerman completed additional training in quality improvement through Northwestern's Academy for Quality and Safety Improvement where she and her team worked to improve vaccination among heart transplant candidates. After joining the faculty at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), Dr. Sukerman has taken on the quality improvement education of the Infectious Diseases fellows and the leadership role of antimicrobial stewardship at OHSU.

In her spare time, Dr. Sukerman likes to travel and enjoy all of the great food Portland has to offer.
