About me
Dr. Meyers specializes in caring for adults with blood problems, including aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, acute leukemia and bone marrow/stem cell transplantation. Dr. Meyers developed a love for blood cell production and the immune system during her internal medicine training. She did extra rotations caring for patients undergoing bone marrow transplant during her training, and found the patients to be very unique-highly courageous and inspiring. This experience lead her to focus her training, research and career on improving outcomes in treating these patients. She especially enjoys getting to know her patients and loved ones throughout their treatment journey. Dr. Meyers is also highly involved in teaching medical students about the blood and immune system.
Outside of work, Dr. Meyers enjoys her family. She has two daughters who love art, reading, and dance, and she is happiest outside of work spending time hiking or biking with her family. Halloween is her favorite holiday, and each year in clinic she and her team get to share the joy of the holiday.

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher.
