About me

I am a board certified orthopaedic surgeon on faculty at OHSU with sub-specialized expertise in foot and ankle disorders. I chose this field within Orthopaedics because treating foot and ankle maladies is tremendously meaningful. When people share their foot and ankle problems with me, it is my mission to work with them to achieve practical solutions that address their functional goals. It is particularly gratifying to see an athlete return to sport after treating their injury. Equally inspiring are the stories of patients who simply return to activities they enjoy such as hiking, cycling, or even taking their dog for a walk. In my role as an educator at OHSU, it is a privilege to share these experiences with the next generation of physicians and surgeons.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
