About me

Jonathan specializes in the rehabilitation of speech, language, and cognitive functions related to traumatic brain injury, stroke, and progressive neurological conditions.

He is a strong advocate for the application of evidence-based assessment and treatment principles in optimizing the functional status of his patients. His approach is holistic, with patient outcomes measured primarily by improvements in quality of life.

In addition to providing motor speech, aphasia, and cognitive rehabilitation services at the Center for Health and Healing, Jonathan works as an inpatient therapist at OHSU, where he treats dysphagia and provides cognitive-linguistic services for stroke and traumatic brain injury patients during the acute phase of recovery.

In his spare time, he enjoys reading, distance running, and listening to music. A transplant from the Northeast, Jonathan can often be found exploring the mountains and waterways of his new home.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
