About me
Dr. Lyons is an OB hospitalist who specializes in obstetric care on Labor and Delivery.
She worked as a full scope OB-GYN at the Cleveland Clinic and the University of New Mexico for 5 years. However, her passion was always caring for patients on Labor and Delivery, and she joined the practice at OHSU as an OB hospitalist in 2022. Giving birth can be one of the most vulnerable times in a person’s life, and her goal is to ensure both a safe and patient-centered experience for all her patients. She is thrilled to be a part of the OHSU team.
Treatments she provides include:
- Vaginal birth
- Cesarean birth
- Tubal ligation
- Treatment of OB/GYN emergencies
- Postpartum care
- Contraception counseling
She enjoys hiking, kayaking, interior design, gardening and exploring Portland with her wife and son. She also loves to travel. Dr. Lyons lived in Mexico City growing up and is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Lyons provides care at OHSU Hospital, Labor and Delivery and OHSU Health Hillsboro Medical Center, Labor and Delivery.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
