About me

I am a full-scope family medicine doctor who sees patients of all ages. I treat patients who seek preventative and general care, as well as those with joint and muscle pain, cardiovascular disease and metabolic disease.

Some of the treatments I provide include counseling, injections and physical therapy.

I like integrating movement practices, mindfulness, mental health and the best evidence the modern scientific community has produced to help patients feel their best.

I bring passion and enthusiasm to helping patients live their best lives with comprehensive wellness, preventative care, injury treatment, and end-of-life care. A former engineer with Intel Corp, I pivoted to medicine for the human touch and wanted to get as far upstream in health as possible to prevent chronic disease and pain.

Outside of work, I enjoy time in nature with my children and partner and participating in movements of all types (martial arts, climbing, cycling and repeatedly picking up heavy things and putting them back down). I am also on the board of Oregon School-Based Health Alliance, a nonprofit that promotes health in educational settings for Oregon's Youth.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
