About me

I'm an associate professor of psychiatry at the OHSU School of Medicine. I completed my undergraduate and medical training at Stanford University and my psychiatric residency at San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services.

I’m passionate about creating and supporting thriving health care environments. My professional interests include positive leadership, resilience, work-life balance and the essential roles of self-care and social support, especially for those of us working in health care.

Since 2010, I’ve been proud to be part of OHSU’s Resident and Faculty Wellness Program, where I work with residents, fellows and faculty navigating personal or professional challenges. In my practice, I use a combination of medication evaluation and management and various forms of psychotherapy, including cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic and supportive approaches.

I also serve as the Director of the Resident and Faculty Wellness Program and the School of Medicine Peer Support Program, where we help foster connection, understanding and support across the medical community.
