About me

I am originally from the East Coast but have called Portland my home for the past 14 years. I attended college in Chicago and then went to medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia before moving out to the Pacific Northwest to complete my internship and residency in Family Medicine at OHSU. I have spent the past 20 years working as a primary care physician in a variety of practices and locations, including a federally qualified health center (FQHC) in the Bronx, NY, a farmworker clinic in the Hudson Valley, and a large, mission-driven patient-centered medical home practice here in Portland. My interests include preventive care, women’s health, and chronic disease management.

I feel honored and excited to return to OHSU and look forward to caring for the students, postdoctoral students, and their partners here at Student Health and Wellness.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my two kids, husband, three cats, and a dog. I also love hiking and biking.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
