About me

I am an anesthesiologist who specializes in perioperative care. This means I help ensure patients are safe and comfortable before, during, and after surgery. Whether you’re having a procedure in the operating room, cath lab, endoscopy suite or another setting requiring sedation, I’ll be there to guide you.

I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and after completing my medical training, I spent several years working there before returning to my hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee, in 2014. In 2020, I moved to Oregon to experience the beauty of the Pacific Northwest—and I’m happy to call it my forever home!

I understand that surgery can feel overwhelming, but I love meeting new patients daily and helping ease their worries. While it may not be a routine day for you, I assure you it is for me, and you can trust that you’re in good hands. My goal is to make your experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.

When I’m not caring for patients, you’ll often find me outdoors—hiking, traveling or enjoying time with my husband and friends. I also have a big heart for animals and love volunteering at local shelters, where I get to spend time with some wonderful four-legged friends.

I look forward to being part of your care team and helping you feel comfortable every step of the way.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
