About me
I am a surgeon who treats patients with:
- Liver cancer
- Bile duct cancer
- Pancreatic cancer
- Stomach cancer and other digestive system cancers
- Liposarcoma and other tumors in the back of the abdomen (retroperitoneal sarcomas)
- Gallbladder cancer
I’m a member of the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute and the SWOG Cancer Research Network, which offers patients the latest in cancer care through participation in clinical trials.
My research at OHSU focuses on:
- Hepatic arterial infusion (HAI) for patients with liver cancer and bile duct cancer
- Using the immune system to fight cancer (immunotherapy)
- Early detection of cancer that’s come back (recurrent cancer)
- Colon cancer that has spread to the liver
I was born in eastern Oregon and raised in central Oregon.
