About me
Dr. Lopez graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico with a BS in Anthropology. After that, she completed medical school and psychiatry residency training at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. She then completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at Oregon Health & Science University.
Dr. Lopez is the OHSU Administrative Chief of the Faculty Program at the Oregon State Hospital and is on the staff of the Oregon Psychiatric Access Line for Adults (OPAL-A). Dr. Lopez serves as the Program Director of the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Training Program. Dr. Lopez’ forensic experience has been focused on but not limited to evaluations for trial competency, criminal responsibility, medical malpractice, wrongful death, psychiatric harm, and fitness for duty.
