Chao-Ling Yang
Chao-Ling Yang, M.D., is a research associate professor of medicine in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension School of Medicine. He received his medical degree and completed his internship and residency in nephrology in China. He completed post-doctoral training with Dr. Peter Aronson in the Section of Nephrology at Yale University School of Medicine from 1994-1998. He joined the research faculty of the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension in OHSU in 2001. As a principal investigator, Dr. Yang is funded by NIH. His research work currently focuses on the mechanisms by which WNK kinases modulate renal transporters and how mutations of WNK kinases cause human hypertension.
