Thank you for caring
Patients and families make more than 140,000 visits to Doernbecher annually. We consistently need new toys, art supplies, books and other items to help our patients and families feel more comfortable and relaxed while they are in the hospital.
Receiving toys, crafts, books and other activities can bring such joy to our patients while they are hospitalized and make the hospital an easier place to be. We always need help replenishing our stock and are grateful for your donations.

Donations: toys and activities
Due to our infection control policy, all donations must be brand new, unused items. Unfortunately, we cannot accept used items, furniture, baby formula, diapers or medical equipment (such as walkers and wheelchairs).
To keep community members and staff safe, we accept donations by appointment only. Please call the Child Life Department at 503-418-5388 to schedule a time to deliver your items.
We thank you for your generosity and support of the patients and families at Doernbecher.
