Safety and reporting resources

Confidential advocates are here to help if you experience sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, interpersonal violence or retaliation. This includes incidents that happen at OHSU or outside of OHSU. We’ll connect you to resources and guide you throughout the process.

Talk to a confidential advocate.

You can submit a formal report without speaking to a confidential advocate first through the Office of Civil Rights Investigations and Compliance.

You can submit an anonymous report through the Integrity Helpline.

Unsure of which route to take? Speak to the university Ombuds.

Share your pronouns and gender identity

We invite you to share your pronouns and gender identity to help create an inclusive space where all identities are affirmed. When you share your pronouns, OHSU faculty and support staff will see them, and they will appear on class rosters.

How to share your pronouns

Sharing pronouns is encouraged but not required. You can share your pronouns in Student Self-Service, email signatures, ID badges and introductions. Pronoun and gender identity information is confidential and protected under FERPA and OHSU policies.

Using pronouns

Using correct pronouns shows respect and supports inclusion. Misusing pronouns may be considered discrimination under OHSU’s policies.
