Diversity Definition
Diversity at OHSU requires creating and sustaining a community of inclusion. We honor, respect, embrace and value the unique contributions and perspectives of all employees, patients, students, volunteers and our local and global communities.
Diversity includes age, color, culture, disability, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. We respect diversity of thought, ideas and more.
Diversity maximizes our true potential for creativity, innovation, quality patient care, educational excellence and outstanding service.
Submit a report
Have you witnessed or been told about a possible incident of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation? You are encouraged to report to Office of Civil Rights Investigations and Compliance (OCIC) any incident of discrimination or harassment, including any form of sexual misconduct or retaliation. Understand the options you have in responding and reporting.
You may wish to first consult with the Confidential Advocacy Program (CAP), a free and confidential resource that can assist before and throughout the reporting process.
