Cancer Research Education and Training
The Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination Office (CRTEC) develops, supports and coordinates programs to build a prepared and diverse cancer workforce. As part of the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, our goal is to provide opportunities for education and career enhancement that prepare all students, trainees, faculty and staff for sustained, productive and fulfilling careers in cancer research.
CRTEC is committed to diversity, inclusion and belonging. We believe diverse teams produce the best results, and it's vital that every team member feels respected and free to voice their thoughts. We warmly invite individuals from historically underrepresented groups to participate at every level of our training continuum. We want to ensure that everyone at the Knight Cancer Institute can acquire the knowledge and skills to contribute to cancer prevention, detection, treatment and care.
By supporting all students, trainees, faculty and staff in their professional development, the Knight Cancer Institute has earned an international reputation as a leader in cancer research and treatment.
