Welcome!
The Radiation Therapy Program at OHSU is dedicated to preparing its students to become professional radiation therapists. Our students will learn to demonstrate the highest quality of technical expertise, to collaborate effectively with their colleagues, and to provide competent, compassionate clinical care.
Built on the three components of education, ethics, and examination as outlined in the American Registry or Radiologic Technologists "Equation of Excellence," the program provides the preparatory education through didactic and clinical requirements to qualify graduates to become competent and ethical practitioners in the art and science of radiation therapy. By promoting a culture of ethical behavior, the program promotes compliance with the rules of ethics required for initial and continuing certification while also encouraging self-directed learning. The mission and goals of this program are consistent with those of the university and school.
