You can submit a formal report without speaking to a confidential advocate first through the Office of Civil Rights Investigations and Compliance.
You can submit an anonymous report through the Integrity Helpline.
Share your pronouns and gender identity
We invite you to share your pronouns and gender identity with us. When you share your pronouns, OHSU faculty and support staff will see them, and they will appear on class rosters. Sharing pronouns and using them correctly helps create an inclusive space where all gender identities are affirmed.
Learn how to add your pronouns.
Learn more about what pronouns are and why they’re important.
How to share your pronouns
We encourage you to share your pronouns, but it is not required. Every effort to share pronouns helps create a more inclusive space for all.
You can share your pronouns in:
- Student Self-Service (learn how)
- Email signatures
- ID badges
- Introductions
Pronoun and gender identity information you share will be a part of your education record, which is confidential and protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and OHSU Policy 02-20-005.
Using pronouns
Our expectation is that once you learn someone’s pronouns you use them correctly. Not only can calling someone by the wrong pronoun make them feel unseen, hurt and disrespected, but it could be considered discrimination under OHSU’s Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation policy.
