Dr. Huang is the director of research at the Casey Eye Institute, and the co-inventor of optical coherence tomography (OCT). OCT has revolutionized clinical ophthalmology by allowing clinicians to better diagnose and treat multiple eye disorders. One OCT procedure is now estimated to be performed every second.
