In a medical specialty that has been historically male-dominated, the OHSU Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Residency Program stands out by being majority female. Thanks to sustained, intentional effort, 51% of residents are women compared to 21% nationally.

Innovative new residency helps Graduate Medical Education top 100 programs
CareOregon is partnering with the OHSU School of Medicine to launch a residency in preventive medicine — combining public health with clinical medicine and contributing to the milestone of more than 100 accredited programs around the state.

We are pleased to announce that Kelly Caverzagie, M.D., will become senior associate dean for education effective July 15. "I am honored by this amazing opportunity to join the education pioneers and outstanding students and trainees at OHSU.” —Dr. Caverzagie
