Tom Barbara
Experience: Dr. Barbara received a doctoral degree in Physical Chemistry from Columbia University in 1982. He pursued postgraduate studies at UCSD from 1982-84 and at University of Illinois from 1984-86. Tom worked as an NMR Research & Development Scientist at Varian Inc. from 1988-2006. Since 2006, Tom has been a Senior Scientist the AIRC where he has pursued his research interests of Theoretical and Experimental Magnetic Resonance. His current projects include Radio Frequency (RF) Coil Design and Interface. Outside of the AIRC, Tom pursues his interests in Trap-set percussion and Black and White Photography
