Research on the Adolescent Management of Pain
Background information
Researchers at OHSU are trying to better understand how an acute injury or pain problem affects the lives of teens and their families.
This study is designed to help investigators learn more about pain and pain treatment in teens.
Participation
Participants involved in this study will be asked to fill out online questionnaires and complete a brief phone interview every six months over the course of two years. Compensation will be provided to participants.
How will I know if this study is a good fit for me?
- You are between 14-18 years old
- You have been seen recently for an acute pain problem or surgery
- You currently live half of the time with a parent/guardian willing to participate in research with you
Compensation
Participating families can earn up to $400 dollars for their time.
