Intern April Vasquez Reyes submitted her abstract "Developmental changes in cardiac composition before and after birth in sheep" in the fall for presentation at the 2023 American Physiology Summit on April 20-23 in Long Beach, CA. Today she found out that she has been selected as a recipient of the 2023 Barbara A. Horwitz and John M. Horowitz Outstanding Undergraduate Abstract Awards! In addition to her poster, she will now also be giving an oral presentation to compete for the Excellence in Undergraduate Research Awards. Congratulations April!
