5 mL blood in a RED top tube. Refrigerated and Room temperature specimens are stable for up to 7 days.

Pediatric Specimen Requirements:

4 mL blood in a 4 mL RED top tube. Refrigerated and Room temperature specimens are stable for up to 7 days.

Comments:

Test must be arranged in advance by calling the lab at 494-2892. A flow cytometric assay for the detection of anti-donor antibodies. Test may be adjusted to detect IgG, IgM or polyvalent antibodies. Target cells can be T- or B-lymphocytes.
