Specimen Requirements:
5 mL aliquot of urine, preferably obtained during acidosis or after overnight fast. If there is less than 3.0 mL, contact Biochemical Genetics lab before sending specimens.
Freeze within 2 hours. CRITICAL Frozen: stable for 1 month.
MUST PROVIDE CLINICAL INDICATIONS. If patient has intermittent symptoms, sample should be obtained when patient is symptomatic.
