Specimen Requirements:

6.0 mL blood in serum separator tube (SST). 
Separate within 2 hours of collection. A minimum of 2 mL serum is needed. 

Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.

Unacceptable Specimens: grossly hemolyzed, contaminated, grossly lipemic.
