Clinical Research Coordinator Workshop Information

This class is in person. Please register in Compass for the location. The class is currently full, but add yourself to the waitlist. Spaces tend to open two weeks before class starts and waitlisted participants will be given priority registration for the next session.

Contact Bridget Adams (adamsb@ohsu.edu ) with questions.

This 1-day workshop provides a basic framework for the roles and responsibilities of the clinical research coordinator, the regulatory and policy requirements for appropriate conduct of clinical research at OHSU, and tools to assist coordinators to successfully perform their role. This course can be helpful for new investigators interested in learning the nuts and bolts of study operations at OHSU.

At the end of the event, participants will be able to:

  • List the responsibilities of investigators, sponsors and IRBs
  • Understand the duties of a clinical research coordinator
  • List required research documentation
  • How to grade and report adverse events
  • Understand the ethical principles guiding the principles of human subjects' research

If you have a disability and need an accommodation to attend or participate in this event, please contact an OCTRI Navigator (octri@ohsu.edu, 503-418-9790) at least five business days before the event
