Linkage Project

The Linkage Project is for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who are not getting their health needs met. There are two main goals of the Linkage Project:

  1. The first goal is to help people learn about health issues that are important to them.

  1. The second goal is to offer ways to help people be healthy and supports to help them get there.

The Linkage Project Team from the Oregon Office on Disability and Health helps in three ways:

  1. They ask people in the project questions about their health needs.

  1. They help people learn about healthy behaviors, going to the doctor, going to the dentist, getting screening tests, and getting mental health counseling.

  1. They help people find health care and other health supports in their community.
