Aaron Silver, M.D. (he/him)

Biography

I was born in San Francisco, lived there just long enough to pick up SF sports fandom, then moved to the Chicago area. I grew up in Downers Grove, IL, A.K.A "8th friendliest town in America" according to Forbes. I went to the cornfields of the University of Illinois in Champaign for undergrad, then to Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, before taking the long drive out to U of A - Phoenix for my Med-Peds training. There, I fostered a love of teaching, mentorship, and physician wellness. I stuck around for a COVID crazy IM Chief year and fostered my passion for POCUS education. In my free time, though often injured, you can find me running, hiking, biking, and skiing. I do a little video editing on the side for weddings, family gatherings, and year in review, which has been a lovely creative outlet. Like many long-time runners, I grew up idolizing Steve Prefontaine, so Portland was a natural fit! I am excited to meet and care for you as part of this excellent group of clinicians!
