Alex Nydahl, MPAS, PA-C (he/him)
- Instructor of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Medical Oncology, School of Medicine
Biography
Alex Nydahl is a PA helping to support and care for patients in the hospital setting. He works to meet patients where they are in their understanding of their disease, prioritizing their autonomy and working toward the goals they set.
He gained valuable clinical experience volunteering at Outside In and working as a medical assistant at Planned Parenthood of the Columbia Willamette before joining the PA program at OHSU. At OHSU, he worked for seven years as a hospitalist PA, spending part of that time with the IMPACT Addiction Medicine Consult Service. He is grateful for the opportunity to shift his focus and join the Palliative group full time.
Outside of work, he enjoys running, biking, cooking and travel.
